Part of an earlier series of work begun in 2013, this Brooklyn-specific iteration of Public Privacy Hotline includes references to Brooklyn landmarks and geography as well as updated sound clips drawing from the 2016 presidential election, reportage on metadata use in drone strikes, and the seminal May 2016 study on privacy and metadata by Stanford University (entitled "Evaluating the privacy properties of telephone metadata").

Public Privacy Hotline (Brooklyn) was shown as part of the "Of the People" exhibition at Smack Mellon, June 17 - July 31, 2016 and was included in The Huffington Post's "If This Art Could Vote" project.
